Classified as Second growth in 1855 classification. An expressive nose of red berry fruit and spices. The aromatics promise a wine of lovely concentration on the palate. After a clean entry on the palate, the wine reveals a powerful yet elegant structure. Fruit flavour comes largely to the fore, and the tannins are smooth. The finish is also very fruity and long.
